Playwriting Workshops

Jul 23 - Sep 24, 2014 | Metanoia Theatre

Unlock your imagination, create a world, develop your craft, share your work. These workshops are for senior drama students, actors who create their own theatre, and practitioners who would like to write a play in a structured, supportive workshop environment. Each week will feature a seminar on a different element of playwriting, followed by a workshop where participants share and comment on each others’ developing scripts.

Kate Rice is an award-winning playwright from Perth. She has been commissioned by Curtin University, Deckchair Theatre Company, Agelink Theatre Company, Black Swan Theatre Company, Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Darwin Theatre Company, Darwin High School and Corrugated Iron Youth Arts.
